A new pavilion for the heat-loving carnivores is designed to keep them with comfort.
Jaguar (PANTHERA ONCA) (FELIDAE) represents big tropical cats and occurs in South America. Our jaguar is melanistic. Black coloration is rather common in the wild among leopards and jaguars. The cubs of melanistis cats may be both black and normaly coloured. Jaguar resembles leopard with its behaviour, the hunting manner and appearance. These large cats usually ambush the prey, sometimes they attack it from trees. Unlike leopards, jaguars are good swimmers and they can prey in water. Common prey species are capibaras, peccaries, and tapirs.
