The Regional Yearbook includes the data on the Zoos, Aquariums and Nurseries of the former USSR (so, in last, 17 release the information on 70 zoos, aquariums and other zoological establishments, from 14 countries contains).
The information about each of these zoological institutions (address, phone, telex and FAX numbers, e-mail addresses and Internet Web-sites, surnames and names of senior specialists, staff, area, attendance, number of species and speciesments) is given in the first part of the book. This part also covers the information on the breeding of the wild and some domestic animals at the zoological institutions. The quantitative data on every species of wild animals, kept in these institutions could be found in this part. Reference to the cited publications are provided.
The information on the EARAZA is published in the second part of the Regional Yearbook. The last section of the second part contains notes about zoological institutions and articles on zoo activities.
The first " Informational Materials " was published 1978.
