During reconstruction of our zoo in 1998 the new "Primate-house" has been built and opened. There are about 200 Primate species in the world.

Primates are characterised by the well developed cerebral hemispheres of the brain, complex behaviour and high socialisation.

The comical similarities of a man's and monkeys' behaviour attract attention of many visitors, especially of children.

The spacious enclosures of "Primate-house" with regulated climate imitate natural habitats of animals. 24 species of Primates are exhibited in the "Primate-house".
