Giraffes (GIRAFFA CAMELOPARDALIS RETICULATA) (GIRAFFIDAE) are among the most amazing animals in the wild. Their long neck and long legs allow them to feed on leaves from high trees in African savannah, where they often live in the side by side with cheetahs. Savannah is inhabited by various ungulates and every species feeds on plants of a certain vegetation layer.
Our giraffe was born in the Leningrad zoo, its name is Samson. Samson lives in the oldest enclosure of the Moscow zoo remained up to now.
