"Exotarium" is one of the most interesting exposures of Moscow zoo and located inside "Animals Island". Marine aquariums up to 3000 litres render underwater landscapes of tropical and northern seas. Thickets of mangroves, biotops of Amazonian valley and caves are also on exhibits. More than a hundred species of fishes and invertebrates are exhibited there, the colourful inhabitants of coral reefs – surgeon fishes, angels, wrasses, morays, seahorses, sea anemones, soft corals, starfishes, sea urchins, shrimps and others among them.
