Diana monkeys (ÑERCOPITHECUS DIANA) are found in Africa to the south of Saccharums. They have slender body, a long tail and cheek pouches. They are arboreal and their hands and feet are adapted for grasping. Their groups consist usually of 6-30 individuals. The diet varies but mainly consists of fruits, leaves, insects, nestlings, small reptiles and birds' eggs.
The Diana monkeys are kept in the Moscow zoo for some years and in summer of 1998 they gave birth to the first offspring.
